It is not very often that Young Adults hear a very important message:

The Church needs you!

So often we hear repeated messages of how much we need church, which is very true. Yet, how often are we reminded of our importance to the church. Not because we help fill the seats, but because of who we are! The Church needs Young Adults to be a part of the Christian Community that God calls us to develop. The Church needs your presence; you energy, talents, enthusiasm, life experience, and perspective are something the Church desperately needs. The Church can not and will not be complete without the gifts and graces only you can bring to it. And think, how many Young Adults there are that say, 'I would go if there were other people my age there'... You have the opportunity to be the reason other people become a part of the Christian community that we all need, but that also needs us.

As we look at the scripture in Hebrews, what are some of the reasons people leave the church?

Have you ever felt that way yourself?

What can we do, as Young Adults, to help encourage people to stay with the church so that we do not lose the presence they have to offer?

Who are the people in your life that make you feel like you are needed and belong in the church?

What are the gifts that you, and only you, bring to your community? (If you say 'I don't know' you aren't thinking enough of yourself)

What are the benefits of continuing to meet together?

When was the last time you heard you were needed in the church?
